New season of So You Think You Can Dance has started and I'm excited! I'm not so attached to any pair or individual just yet be my so far favourites are, Wil, Jessica, Chelsea and Courtney...we'll see if that changes : )

Backyard remodel - Phase II

I am exhausted! Today I finally finished cleaning up, planting, and mulching the flower beds in my back yard. I wish I was even close to finished though. But, it does look much much better than it did before.

Next up: tree cut down, fix the grass, fill in the massive holes left in the middle of the yard by the tree transplant and build a patio. Long road ahead.

Here are some pictures of Ewok when he was little-er. I need to take some recent ones now that he's chubby and all, but these are very cute of when he was an even littler monster than he is. If you could hear him right now he's snoring like an old man... very cute!

DUFFY

I'm really liking the latest (first?) album from Duffy. I actually only heard her on a visit to the Ellen show and then got the CD after that. But I really like the whole CD! She's super easy to listen to and it's kinda jazzy - just fun...check her out.

I will never get sick of going to see Disney-type movies! This one is super cute!I loved Panda, Jack Black was so funny and all the characters were great! And I got to see the preview for Wall e and that was just a bonus : )

SEX AND THE CITY

GREAT MOVIE!

This movie really took a chance. TV shows turned into movies? Risky! But this one was great! It really felt like this was just a really long episode of the show. There were elements of each characters story lines, I loved and hated Big just like the shoe, I loved the fashion -crazy and cool- I now really want to vacation in Mexico, and the acting was great. This movie will go into my collection that I watch religiously time and time again with Clueless, Pretty Woman and Harry Potter (I don't know where that one fits, but I love them).

I am a little in love with the Le Creuset pot Dennis bought me for Christmas this year. It is the greatest pot! I'm really not even sure what I love so much but I do. You can use it on the stove top, then put it right in the oven, it's bright red - what's not fun about that?

I was in a little kitchen shop while out for lunch with the girls on the weekend at the market and I saw another pot, of the same brand, and I want it! It's like an addiction - a very expensive - addiction.

Yellow Street Lights

What is it about yellow street lights? Since when did yellow mean go faster and then proceed through the red? Today I was waiting in the left turn lane when the advance turned green, did I go?? NO, I had to wait for FOUR cars to still turn from the other side. Cars that basically ran the red because they couldn't spare the 3 minutes to wait for their next turn. And people wonder why there is so much road rage around and why traffic is so crazy all the time. If people would just go with the flow of traffic and not be so rediculous we would all get where we need to go faster and safer. It's those times you really want a police officer to pull somebody over!
